This is a translation of the Portuguese version of these Terms of Use. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Who we are and acceptance of these terms

Indicora (indicora.com) is a Brazilian news and content portal about investing.

These Terms of Use govern access to the site and the use of the account, the supporter subscription and the newsletter. By browsing the site or creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process your personal data. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Nature of the content

Indicora’s content is informational and journalistic. It is not investment advice, an offer, or an invitation to buy or sell any asset, and it does not constitute securities analysis under CVM Resolution No. 20/2021.

  • Investment decisions are yours. Consider your profile, your goals and the risks involved and, if needed, consult a licensed professional.
  • Past performance does not guarantee future returns.
  • Quotes and other market data may be delayed. The source and the delay of each data point are shown next to it.
  • Part of the content may be produced with the help of artificial intelligence tools, always reviewed by a member of our team, who is responsible for the published text.

3. Account

You can read the site without an account. The account is used for features such as the supporter subscription and reading preferences.

  • Sign-in is done only with your Google account. We do not ask for or store a password.
  • The account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for what is done with it and must let us know if you suspect misuse. In the account area you can see your open sessions and end them.
  • The account is intended for people aged 18 or over. Minors may only use it with the authorization and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • The author, editor and administrator roles belong to the Indicora team and are granted by invitation only.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the account area. Deletion also cancels any active subscription.

4. Supporter subscription

The supporter subscription helps keep Indicora running. It removes ads from the site and provides benefits such as early delivery of the newsletter. Current benefits are shown on the subscription page.

  • Plans and price. There are monthly and yearly plans. The price and billing period are shown before payment.
  • Payment. Payment is processed by Stripe, by credit card or Pix. Indicora does not see or store your card details.
  • Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, on the same plan, until you cancel it.
  • Cancellation. You cancel through the same channel you used to subscribe: in the account area, which opens the Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and your benefits remain active until then.
  • Right of withdrawal. You may withdraw within 7 days of subscribing, as provided by article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and receive a full refund of the amount paid. To do so, contact us through our contact page.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, we will notify you before the next renewal, and you can cancel before the new amount is charged.

5. Newsletter

A newsletter subscription only takes effect after you confirm your address through the link we send by email. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, which works without signing in.

6. Ads

The site may display ads, including Google ads (AdSense). Measurement and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner and can change at any time. Supporters do not see ads. Ads are the responsibility of the advertisers and are not recommendations by Indicora.

7. Permitted use

When using the site, you agree not to:

  • collect the content in an automated, large-scale way (bots, scraping, systematic extraction), except for normal indexing by search engines;
  • attempt to bypass, probe or disable security mechanisms, access accounts or areas without authorization, or overload the infrastructure;
  • republish, copy or distribute the content without written permission;
  • use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that violates the rights of others.

Quoting a short excerpt, crediting the source and linking to the original article, is allowed.

8. Intellectual property

Indicora’s texts, charts, images, brand, logo, layout and code belong to Indicora or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and industrial property laws. Using the site does not transfer any of these rights to you. Third-party market data remains the property of its owners and is subject to the terms of the respective sources.

9. Corrections

We strive to publish accurate information. If you find an error in an article, let us know through our contact page. We review every request and, where appropriate, correct the text and note the correction in the article itself.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account in case of abuse, fraud, violation of these terms, or risk to the security of the site or of other users. Whenever possible, we will notify you in advance and explain the reason. If a supporter’s account is terminated without the supporter having violated these terms, we will refund the amount proportional to the unused period.

11. Limitation of liability

Within the limits of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and applicable law, Indicora is not liable for:

  • investment decisions made based on the site’s content, or any gains or losses resulting from them;
  • delays, failures or inaccuracies in market data provided by third parties, whose source we show next to the data;
  • temporary unavailability caused by maintenance, supplier failures or reasons beyond our control;
  • content, products and practices of third-party sites, including advertisers, accessed through links.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site, the services or the law. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced on the site and, for account holders, by email, before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the consumer’s place of residence have jurisdiction over any matter related to them.
